Christopher Theobald
United States Army 2005-2013
He loved being in the Army and often told us that he would be proud and honored to die for his country. He served 2 tours of Iraq with the 1st Cavalry in field artillery flying both the Raven and Aerostat. He also went to Afghanistan attached to 101st Airborne as a tactical explosive detector dog handler. After he served 8 years, he returned to Iraq as a government contractor for 2 years and worked dogs at the gates of the base. He loved his family with every ounce of him. He would give you his last dime and the shirt off his back. He had significant PTSD and ultimately took his own life. He had signed up many years ago to be an organ donor and was able to save 4 people’s lives. Even with his death he still served others and died a Hero!!

Dan Djordjevich
United States Army 1992-2003
From boots on the ground to boardroom strategy—and now boots in the dirt—my journey has been all about leadership, service, and growth. I spent 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, where I learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. After transitioning to civilian life, I joined UPS and spent the next 19 years growing through a variety of roles that taught me the ins and outs of business operations and people leadership. Today, I’m proud to serve as a Human Resources Director at a global packaging company, where I get to champion culture, support talent, and help shape the future of our workforce.
Outside of work, I stay grounded—literally—as a local small farmer at GeorgiaVich Farms where we care for a variety of farm animals.
